Join a “Sea of Pink” when over 30 000 runners and walkers come together in solidarity to celebrate National Women’s Day at the iconic Totalsports Women’s Race. Participating athletes have their choice of either tackling a 10km or a 5km run.
The Totalsports Women's Race creates an unforgettable experience for women of all ages and backgrounds. It transcends mere competition, celebrating the strength, resilience, and camaraderie that define the essence of womanhood.
Celebrating all women – mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts, the Totalsports Women’s Race launched back in 2001. Since then, it has quickly become SA’s largest Nationwide Women’s Day Celebration. Not only do participants get to compete in exhilarating races, but they are also treated to some live performances.
The TWR race pack includes a TWR race performance t-shirt, a race number and timing chip, a finisher's medal, amazing sponsor route entertainment point, 2 x refreshment stations on route, a tog bag drop and collect services, and post-race entertainment by a performing artist.
Unregistered athletes are urged to purchase a temporary running license in order to be eligible for participation.
