Time Out Market Cape Town's Winter Wine Series returns for 2026, presenting an afternoon of curated food and wine pairings in the Time Out Studio at the market. The 2026 format brings together Time Out Market's resident chefs and local wine producers for a structured tasting experience with live music and a social winter atmosphere.
The Winter Wine Series launched at Time Out Market Cape Town in 2024 and runs monthly between the middle of winter and early spring, with each edition built around a distinct theme, previous editions have featured women winemakers, food and fashion pairings, jazz, and cheese and wine. Ten or more wine producers typically participate per edition, offering tastings hosted by the winemakers themselves alongside guided sessions and presentations.
Time Out Market Cape Town is housed in a converted power station in the V&A Waterfront's Dry Dock District, opened in November 2023 as the first Time Out Market in Africa. The Studio is the event space on the upper level of the market.
