This bistro style restaurant - on part of the historic Valkenburg estate - combines generous plates with relaxed country surrounds a short drive from central Observatory.
Dining areas are spread between cosy interiors, tree lined terraces and a converted barn that holds heritage status as a National Monument. The barn is now a dedicated bar, and there is also. a separate upstairs section regularly used for smaller celebrations, meetings and private gatherings.
THe Wild Fig is particularly popular for its weekend breakfasts and its Sunday roasts. Weekly offers include a two for one deal on selected light meals, a date night special on chosen evenings and a wine and canape pairing.
