The Green Cab presents The Waterfront Neighbourhood Tour, a one-hour guided experience of the V&A Waterfront aboard a 100% electric TukTuk. The tour combines curated audio storytelling with a live female driver-guide, introducing passengers to the people, projects and stories shaping the Waterfront precinct. The meeting point is on Dock Road between Time Out Market and The Watershed.
The Green Cab is a multi-award-winning Cape Town transport company, co-founded by Amiene van der Merwe, with women's economic empowerment at the core of its model. Since launching its free hop-on hop-off electric shuttle service within the V&A Waterfront in December 2024, the company's fleet has operated entirely on the Waterfront's energy supply.
