The Untitled Basement presents a performance by jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player, Feya Faku in a September instalment of The Legacy Series.
Though his jazz career started later in his life, the Port Elizabeth native Faku has gone on to accompany the cream of crop in the South African jazz music landscape including Mankunku Ngozi, Thandie Klassen, Pat Matshikiza and Barney Rachabane to name a few.
The living legend has travelled all over the world with his talent, even going on to lead a Swiss South African Quintet in Switzerland. Now, he brings the performance of a lifetime back to the jazz-lovers of Johannesburg.
