The Gallery at Grande Provence is a contemporary art space on the Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, recognised for its collection of South African fine art across different media. Sculpture is a particular strength, with many pieces displayed in the estate’s outdoor garden, where visitors can explore both the art and the surrounding scenery. An adjoining shop offers smaller works, decorative objects, and African artifacts.
The gallery is managed by Jean-Marié Olivier, with curation by Pieter Lategan. Together they oversee rotating exhibitions featuring both established and emerging artists, while also providing services such as art collecting advice, conservation, restoration, and valuations. Their work ensures the gallery remains a key venue in the Winelands for engaging with the country’s contemporary art scene.
