The Cricket School of Excellence (CSE) was founded in 1999 and has since been developing cricketers in a fun environment through cutting edge technical and behavioural training.
The CSE has grown to become one of the South Africa’s leading cricket schools, offering both private and group coaching. Private cricket coaching allows the children to enjoy personal one-on-one attention with a Cricket South Africa (CSA) qualified coach, covering specific points of the game with an aim to focus on the more detailed aspects.
The group sessions distribute up to eight players to each coach. These sessions take place during cricket season at various venues for that extra bit of attention and practice needed before Saturday games, or as introductory classes to learn the fundamentals of the game.
The CSE also hosts custom sports-based birthday parties, as well as three-to-four-day clinics over the school holidays in Cape Town. The clinics cover a broad range of cricket topics, including general knowledge and playing etiquette, sportsmanship and more. On the last day of the clinic, each child receives a certificate for completing the course.
