The Cellars Hohenort is a five-star hotel located in the historical Constantia Valley, in an area known as 'Cape Town's Vineyard.'
Part of The Liz McGrath Collection, this hotel features 51 guest rooms and suites. Accommodation options include a two-bedroom Villa as well as the exclusive Madiba Villa with three bedrooms, a dining room, a lounge with fireplace, a private pool, a service kitchen, and a bar. All rooms boast views of Table Mountain and the property's award-winning gardens.
The grounds are also home to two award-winning restaurants, The Greenhouse and The Conservatory.
With the appointment of executive chef Tronette Dippenaar at The Conservatory, the menu features dishes that are full of flavour, uncomplicated, and unpretentious.
The breakfast menu options include 'Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg', 'French Toast With Maple Flavoured Syrup' and 'Banting Benedict', just to name a few. Additionally, guests have the option of a cold Continental breakfast spread, flowing mimosas, coffees, and teas.
Breakfast is open to non-resident guests, with prior reservations. After breakfast, guests are welcome to stay, take a walk and explore the hotel's renowned gardens, which are spread across nine acres.
The hotel also provides an all-day high tea offering, designed with the intent to be decadent. The four course high tea menu includes smoked salmon roulade, beef tartare, bocconcini, blueberry scones with chantilly cream, and dark chocolate and caramel mille-feuille.
