The Cape Wheel is a giant observation wheel that offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Cape Town. On the wheel, guests of all ages get to catch sight of Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Cape Town City skyline, the Paarl Mountains, and the DHL Cape Town Stadium from the wheel.
The cabins are fully enclosed and air-conditioned, and passengers are taken 40 metres above the ground on the 12-15 minute, four-revolution ride. The wheel also offers two wheelchair-friendly cabins.
The VIP Gondola takes 4 adults and has leather seats, a glass floor and music and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and/or appletizer for a non-alcoholic option. This must be booked in advance by email.
