Event information
Join for a cosy, curated evening of red wine, live music, and celebration at Loch Lynne - featuring a special Pinotage tribute and red wines from across the Durbanville Wine Valley.
Indulge your senses at the Taste of Terroir, where the winemakers of Durbanville Wine Valley will pour their finest red wines for your enjoyment. Explore the rich flavours and unique characteristics of this cool-climate region, all while mingling with the passionate creators behind the bottles.
Be among the first to taste the limited-release DURBANVILLE PINOTAGE – a tribute wine celebrating three milestones: 200 Years of Durbanville Town, 100 Years of Pinotage and 100 Years of Afrikaans as an official language.
The fireplaces at Loch Lynne will be lit, offering warmth and comfort as you savour each sip in a relaxed and elegant setting. Dress to impress in shades of blue - the Valley’s colour of heritage and elegance. (Optional, but encouraged to enhance the evening’s ambience.)
Each ticket includes the opportunity to taste red wines from nine Durbanville producers, poured by winemakers; live music by Emile Swiegers and three seasonal canapés by Kos Kouture, caterers for one-of-a-kind events.
Taste of Terroir follows a walk-around tasting format with secure on-site parking and wheelchair access. Its hours are purposely curated to give ticketholders the option of following the event with dinner at local restaurants. Among them are The Farm Eatery at Diemersdal, Wilde Vy Bistro at Hooggelegen Farm and Meerendal’s Bossa or La Romantica.
