Located at the bottom of Table Mountain near the Lower Cableway Station, TAP Bar is a trendy bar with stunning views of the Cape Town City Bowl.
TAP Bar was launched in 2022 by the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company in collaboration with Cape Town’s well-known Newlands Brewery, and boasts a full range of Newlands Brewery beers while also catering for visitors who enjoy wine, spirits, and other beverages.
TAP Bar is not only for Cableway visitors but also welcomes anyone in Cape Town who wants to unwind while enjoying breathtaking views, food and drinks. If you would like a meal to accompany your beverage, this watering hole offers patrons a menu with local favourites such as mini BBQ steak gatsbys. Ask a staff member for a menu on arrival.
TAP is also available to hire as a private venue.
