Event information
Sushi Making Saturday is an afternoon sushi making event in the name of charity, featuring wine, music and dancing.
The event is staged in collaboration with Empowered Generation, a community development and social impact program done at township primary schools within the Pretoria east areas to empower and educate young children on social issues.
Guests are taught to make their own sushi and get to enjoy it with some wine and music. The class entails a fusion sushi platter and features a tutorial on how to successfully put together two sushi rolls— Maki Roll and Salmon California Roll.
Each individual creates a sushi platter of 16 pieces. All ingredients and utensils needed for the duration of the class are provided, and guests bring their own wine.
Vegetarians interested in the event should contact the organisers in advance. Booking is essential as spacing is limited to 40 guests.
