Cape Town International Animation Festival (CTIAF) hosts an evening recognizing South Africa’s top emerging talent.
The Student Awards event recognises standout filmmaking from the country’s tertiary institutions. The event also features screenings from local filmmakers, plus a film collection from Jamaica and the Caribbean—CTIAF's first collaboration of this nature.
Live music is provided by Dukes of Note, a Cape Town Carnival Rock band whose repertoire includes Balkan rhythms, gypsy punk, vintage blues, swing, and rock ‘n roll.
The theme of the evening is “Film Noir style Halloween”
