The open-air series returns to Drostdy Street in the heart of Stellenbosch for its 15th anniversary season, run by the Stellenbosch Wine Routes, which is itself marking 55 years. Nine mid-week evenings run from October to March, each lasting two hours.
As dusk settles, the street is lit with strings of festive lights and dotted with casual seating islands. Wine stalls pour the region’s wines, food stalls offer a range of flavours, and live performers provide the soundtrack.
Every ticket includes a branded glass and 10 wine tasting tokens. The short 6pm to 8pm format makes each soirée a natural precursor to dinner at one of the town’s restaurants.
Organisers say the evenings sell out quickly, so booking ahead is advised. Dates for 2026 are 28 October, 11 and 25 November and 9 December. Dates for 2027 are 20 January, 3 and 17 February, and 3 and 17 March.
