Event information
The gallery was established in 2009 by a master printmaker who sought to promote a greater appreciation of the medium: the emphasis being to supersede a limited focus on the big names in printmaking, and showcase quality printmaking which highlights good and unusual prints.
As the cannon of printmaking becomes more studied and appreciated, there is a greater context of what has constituted local printmaking, especially after 1910. As such, the gallery supports investment in South African fine art prints. All their prints are examined with condition reports, and each print is uniquely framed with good quality archival materials.
Print lovers and investors can also share their enjoyment of collecting great prints by joining their print club, which facilitates first choice of prints via a newsletter.
