Simonsig Family Vineyards is known for its diverse range of wines, influenced by the area's terroir, which includes varied soils, climate, and terrain. Located approximately 50km from Cape Town, the vineyard offers views of Table Mountain in the distance. The winery produces both still and sparkling wines, including Cap Classique, a traditional-method sparkling wine. Visitors can explore the estate's tasting room, where they can sample the wines while enjoying the surroundings.
Guests at Simonsig can experience a variety of tasting options, including an exclusive Cap Classique tasting that highlights the estate's sparkling wine production. The tasting room provides indoor seating by a fireplace in winter and outdoor seating under oak trees in summer. Cellar tours are available with prior reservation.
