Divorce is no laughing matter... unless, of course, you're Schalk Bezuidenhout. The comedian is bringing his brand-new stand-up show, Hey Hey Divorcé, to Cape Town, and he's not holding back. Billed as cheaper than therapy, this is raw, unfiltered comedy about heartbreak, healing and everything in between. And (hopefully) it's the only divorce show Schalk will ever perform, so don't miss it.
Beyond the laughs, there's real purpose: profits go towards the high school funds for a child who lost her only parent during Covid. The ticket price includes wine or soft drinks, a light supper of bean or chicken roti, and entry into a raffle with a long list of prizes from a two-night stay in Rooi Els to Newlands Airbnb nights, books, art vouchers, baked goods, wine and more. Extra raffle tickets can be added at checkout.
Hosted in a private home in Upper Newlands, this intimate, in-person evening is strictly for the over-14s.
