South African National Parks (SANParks) presents its 18th annual SA National Parks Week from 16 to 24 September 2023, allowing free access to selected national parks for day visitors.
The week aims to cultivate a sense of pride in South Africa's natural, cultural and historical heritage.
Participating parks and dates:
- West Coast National Park: until 22 September
- Table Mountain National Park: until 22 September
- Garden Route National Park: until 24 September
- Bontebok National Park: until 24 September
- Agulhas National Park: until 24 September
The free access week covers general entry and does not include access to accommodation facilities and other activities
