The Salzmann family’s line of business has developed over three generations, and they have been heavily immersed in art, as well as music.
Salzmann Art integrated with Jonkmanskas antique dealers in 2007. Jonkmanskas traded in Bloemfontein for 50 years, originally focusing on antiques, but since 1990, also started manufacturing antique replicas. Their manufacturing division subsequently expanded into the full-scale production of classical styled, wooden and Art Deco furniture.
They have a preference for artworks that are investment pieces, whilst being a fine art studio also offering Art Deco items. They manufacture their own lines of solid wooden furniture in all types of wood available in South Africa, and will design and manufacture special pieces on request. They also do restorations for clients.
