Salon Ninety One Contemporary Art Collection was founded by owner, Monique du Preez, who maintains a hands-on approach, personally managing day-to-day operations and curating exhibitions.
This boutique-style gallery and art consultation service showcases works by emerging and established contemporary artists of all disciplines. The gallery welcomes submissions from hard-working artists with a professional attitude to their work who are looking to develop a long-term working relationship.
It also offers seasoned collectors and first-time buyers unique investment opportunities into the emerging South African art market.
An intimate gallery space, central location and the accessible nature of the works on show allow for a relaxed atmosphere, where viewers can enjoy a broad range of artworks and further their appreciation of art. Exhibitions rotate every three to four weeks.
The gallery team gladly assist private collectors, architects, new buyers, and corporate clients in sourcing the perfect artwork for any space or budget. Site visits, framing, viewings of artists’ portfolios, and commissions can also be arranged on request.
