Sabi Sands Game Reserve is the most exclusive private game reserve in South Africa. Located on the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park, there are no restricting fences between the Kruger Park and Sabi Sands Reserve, allowing the wildlife to roam free.
Sabi Sands provides a particiularly noteworthy opportunity for leopard spotting. This most elusive animal of the Big 5 is frequently spotted when going on a game drive in the reserve alongside the other Big 5 members, various other game species and over 300 species of bird.
Game drives at night, in the morning or during the late afternoon can be enjoyed with experienced rangers. These knowledgeable guides share their expertise and experiences with those on safari, making these game drives a unique experience. The night drives are particularly interesting as the nocturnal hunt begins, allowing visitors to see the night animals as they cross the headlights of the vehicle.
