The Robertson Wine on the River Festival is three days of exquisite wines, food, live music, and endless fun.
The festival is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Breede River and is staged in partnership with Nedbank and American Express. Each ticket holder receives 20 tasting coupons and a complimentary tasting glass on entry to enjoy all the amazing wines on offer.
Guests can taste and purchase top-notch wines at cellar prices, take guided tastings and enrich their wine knowledge at the Tutored Tasting Tent for an added fee, indulge in a culinary adventure with diverse offerings from various fantastic food stalls, and enjoy live performances.
Those looking to elevate their experience can also book a scenic boat cruise down the Breede River via rivercruises@viljoensdrift.co.za. Other festival features include kid-friendly activities, and art by an experienced art teacher.
Note that the organisers have introduced a revised token system based on the price point of each wine on offer, where 1 token allows guests to taste wine valued up to R199, 2 tokens allow tasting of wine valued R200 – R399, and 4 tokens allow tasting of wine valued above R400.
Designated driver tickets are also available.
