The wild awaits at the Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve. Go on a game drive, watch predators feed, explore a cave, have a braai, speed around a bike track, climb a jungle gym, go for a swim, explore the African garden, share a pizza, enjoy sundowners, stay the night and so much more.
There is a wide variety of animals in the Wildlife Centre, many of which were rescued, rejected, hand-reared and/or are being rehabilitated.
With more than 100 species of mammals, reptiles and birds in the reserve, visitors can see four of the big five as well as African wild dogs, cheetah, tigers, zebras, roan antelope, sable antelope and many more.
The Reserve also has one of a few successful Vulture Hides where they feed vultures and other scavengers. For the 4×4 enthusiast, there are a few 4×4 routes and a secluded 4×4 braai area with ablution facilities.
