The Red Cross Society WC hosts their annual fundraising High Tea and Auction at the Vineyard Hotel this winter. The South African Red Cross Society’s mission is to render services to prevent and alleviate human suffering and to foster human dignity by addressing the basic needs of the people. There are incredible raffle prizes on offer as well as a chance to snap up some beautiful original artwork at the auction, and local presenter and singer-songwriter, Katlego Maboe is set to MC the event and give a special performance. Also on the programme is one of the world’s best international motivational speakers, Dr Steve Harris, delivering a fascinating talk on mental toughness.
Raffle prizes range from a Pick 'n Pay luxury hamper to a luxury sunset catamaran cruise, and there is also the Grand raffle running where a Harley Davidson 72 Sportster can be won. Raffle tickets are R150 and are available online at Computicket or at the Money Market kiosks at Checkers or Shoprite stores.
