Skilpadvlei offers a dedicated family‑friendly experience with both outdoor and indoor play facilities. Outside, there's a fenced play zone split into a toddlers' area (soft‑play toys, sandpit, small slides) and an older kids' section with large jungle gym, rope bridges, swings and a trampoline. The space is adjacent to the restaurant so parents can relax while remaining in view. Inside there is also an indoor playroom for rainy days.
Children can enjoy special kiddie tastings: juices or milkshakes paired with sweets or biscuits, while adults sample wines.
