The Plascon Stage at Battery Park is a vibrant 6m x 2m mural alongside the canal, designed to inspire creativity.
Passers by can scan a QR code on the mural to view the best films made at that spot, or you can view the videos by visiting the link on this page.
Creatives can film at the Plascon Stagae at any time (see note below on permits) or - if you are an animator or green-screener - you can download the background plates from the Scene It website.
NB If filming at the Plascon Stage, you'll need to get a permit from the V&A Waterfront. It is free, and they won't say no, they just need to know who is filming where and roughly when, and to ensure you have read their terms and conditions).
In the vicinity you'll find small, friendly restaurants and cafes, SUP Cape Town, Rollercade, the skateboarding park and basketball courts, a small garden, and the historical Amsterdam Battery (cannon defence placement).
