Petal&Post gathers the freshest seasonal blooms from Johannesburg’s local surrounding farms and creates a unique arrangement that will be available for one week only. A picture of the Posy of the day is posted at 7 am each morning on their website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
The Posies can be upsized to Double Posy or Triple Posy, pre-ordered in advance, and topped up with treats such as handcrafted chocolate, scented candles, locally made hand cream, and a variety of beautiful gift sets.
Orders for same-day delivery of the Posies are open until 1 pm and delivered by their in-house delivery team, formed of part-time students in the central suburbs of Johannesburg. Petal&Post have made flower and gift delivery affordable, very convenient, and, most of all, uncomplicated.
Petal&Post’s unique business model was founded by Kim du Plessis while working in Australia, where she attended a floristry night course. In 2018, she was offered a spot at the UCT Graduate School of Business incubation programme ‘MTN Solution Space’, which provided a wonderful opportunity for growth and business mentorship. In February 2020 she opened a second branch in Joburg’s trendy 44 Stanley complex.
