The Old Mutual Music in the Gardens Series invites incredible South African acts to perform in a picnic-style concert at various outdoor venues in Johannesburg.
The October series features popular singer-songwriters and South African Idols alumni, Shekhinah and Lloyiso. Shekhinah is a Pop/RnB vocalist who has established herself as an artist on a national scale, having achieved two No.1 hits in the country with 'Back to the Beach' and 'Let You Know', and claiming multiple music awards nominations and wins.
Lloyiso is an artist who grew up being inspired by the likes of Sam Smith. The singer has amplified his voice globally, gaining the endorsement of everyone from Kygo to Tyga and gradually amassing an enthusiastic audience, becoming the first South African artist to be signed to Republic Records.
Fans can bring along food, picnic blankets, small beach-style umbrellas and camping chairs along with them to relax under the sun as they take in the musical talents of these two showstoppers. The concert starts at 1pm and ends at 6pm.
Note that drinks, hard cooler boxes and gazebos are not permitted.
