A series of five different hiking routes make up the Boland Hiking Trail.
Usually hikers select a route, with an overnight stop, but the Nuweberg to Landdroskop can be done there and back as a day hike. The full trail begins at Nuweberg Forest Station to Landdroskop Hut (12kms and roughly 5 hours) then on to Boesmanskloof Hut (17kms and roughly 8 hours) and back to Nuweberg (18kms and roughly 10 hours). The full trail is normally done with 2 overnight stops.
The full trail is not recommended for inexperienced hikers - the routes are long and steep and are rough under-foot.
