Event information
Comedian and "geriatric millennial" Nik Rabinowitz performs new material that takes a sharp, witty look at modern life in all its absurdity. As the title suggests, guests can expect some half-baked ideas alongside fully-formed jokes in preparation for Rabinowitz's next Netflix special.
The ever popular Alma Cafe is serving dinner, dessert, and drinks on the night, with the show starting after dinner service is complete.
More about the comedian:
As a child, Nik Rabinowitz attended a Waldorf School, where he learned how to plant vegetables, express his feelings through interpretative dance, and crochet his own underpants. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town, Rabinowitz spent a year touring Africa with a travelling theatre company before venturing into stand-up comedy. A whole bunch of years later, with a career spanning all sorts of things, he is recognised as one of South Africa’s most established acts and well-known faces on the entertainment scene.
He’s toured internationally, including to the Netherlands, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, the US and the UK, where, amongst other things, he appeared at The Royal Albert Hall, on BBC 2’s ‘Mock the Week’.
