Narratives is an event on the Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees programme that demonstrates the practices of affect, rhetoric, allegory and symbolism of Baroque music.
The performance features The Cape Town Baroque Trio which includes Annien Shaw, Ralitza Macheva (baroque violin), and Rosamund Ender (viola da gamba). Together they perform works by Corelli, Biber, Telemann, and Vivaldi, as well as showcase an innovative new composition for Baroque instruments by Antoni Schonken.
