Mirage Catamarans runs premium catamaran cruises from the V&A Waterfront, with two core scheduled experiences and fully custom private charters. By day, 60-minute “Day Sails” head towards Sea Point or Granger Bay (route is weather dependent), showcasing Table Mountain and the Atlantic seaboard. Departures are typically at 1pm and 3pm from Pierhead opposite the Clock Tower, with a cashless full-service bar and light snacks available on board; catering is reserved for private hires only.
The signature Sunset Cruise elevates the scenery with golden-hour views and a welcome glass of bubbles, running about 90 minutes from the same Pierhead embarkation point. Guests can choose the open-air upper deck or the sheltered lower deck with panoramic windows, while purchasing drinks from the onboard bar; departure times vary seasonally, so advance confirmation is advised.
For private charters, Mirage is a floating event venue for birthdays, corporate functions, and celebrations, with options for gourmet catering, DJs or live music, and flexible layouts on two levels make it ideal for everything from relaxed sundowners to full-scale parties along Table Bay.
