MIRAGE is the latest large-scale themed event from Cape Town's Incognito Events, a production company known for immersive, conceptually driven techno nights including the Sinful series, Winter Solstice, and the monthly warehouse rave N2O[X]. MIRAGE marks a new direction for the series, with a dedicated folkloric narrative concept and a white-toned dress code built around nomadic and gothic aesthetics.
The event takes place at SPECTRA Warehouse in Paarden Eiland, a raw industrial space that Incognito Events transforms with full theatrical production for each event. For MIRAGE, the interior is staged as a traveling nomad encampment, with projection mapping, immersive decor, a labyrinth and play space, roaming characters, aerial burlesque, shibari performance, and live theatrical dance. Five DJs move through melodic, industrial, groove, psytrance, tech house, and acid techno across the night, with the lineup including Zsa Zsa, Archy, Grimehouse, Killer Robot (Ivan Turanjanin), and Vixen.
The dress code is enforced at the door: predominantly white, off-white, cream, ivory, or pastel tones are required, in themed styles ranging from bohemian and Victorian to folklore and carnival. Contemporary clubwear, streetwear, and unthemed attire are not accepted.
A fully licensed cashless bar and food truck are available on site. Coat check is R30 per hanger for general admission; complimentary for VIP ticket holders, who also receive early access from 8pm, a welcome drink, and access to a dedicated VIP Sideshow Lounge with exclusive performances. No photography or videography is permitted.
The event is strictly for attendees aged 23 and above.
