Event information
Tushita Kadampa Meditation Centre hosts an open day offering visitors an introduction to Buddhist meditation and the activities of the centre. The event provides an opportunity for those unfamiliar with meditation practices to explore the space, meet members of the community and learn about the centre’s programmes.
Throughout the day, visitors can participate in short guided meditation sessions and attend Prayers for World Peace, a practice commonly held at Kadampa centres worldwide. Informal discussions and opportunities to ask questions allow attendees to learn more about Buddhist philosophy and the role meditation can play in daily life.
The programme is structured to accommodate both newcomers and those with prior experience of meditation. The event offers a relaxed introduction to the centre’s teachings, community activities and ongoing meditation classes.
