Marina Walsh has been teaching the art of sculpture since 2005. The large studio located in Greenside, Johannesburg accommodate the assortment of large and small sculptures built by her and her students.
For a decade Marina worked as a freelance art director for top-rated photographers in Johannesburg. Soon her love for sculpture took over, which led her to display her pieces as part of esteemed exhibitions in Dubai, France, Germany and England. Marina now shares her expertise and passion in her sculpture school. Students are taught how to sculpt in clay, wax and cement. Bronze casting and sculpting from life are covered.
Sculpture classes are kept to small intimate sizes. They are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and last up to three hours, all materials and tools are provided. Marina is multilingual and can conduct lessons in English, Afrikaans, German and basic conversational French.
