Marbrin Olive Farm is a small family-run boutique operation located in the picturesque Robertson Breede River Valley, framed by the Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountains. The farm produces extra virgin olive oil and an array of unique table olives and tapenades. Visitors can immerse themselves in the serene ambiance of the valley while enjoying the rich flavors of Marbrin’s olive products, known for their exceptional health benefits.
Marbrin’s extra virgin olive oil is a balanced blend of Frantoio, Coratina, and Mission cultivars, cold-extracted using a dual-phase decanter process. Stainless steel storage ensures the oil retains its freshness, nutrients, and antioxidants, reflecting the unique terroir of the Robertson Valley. The result is a superior quality olive oil that has earned numerous accolades, including gold awards at the SA Olive Awards from 2011 to 2018 and recognition in the ABSA Top 5 and Top 10 Extra Virgin Olive Oils in South Africa.
Guests are welcome to visit the farm to learn about olive cultivation and production through engaging tours and tastings. They can sample various olive oil styles, cultivars, and homemade tapenades while enjoying views from the factory terrace. Mediterranean-inspired dishes prepared with the farm’s olive products add to the experience. Visits are by appointment, Monday to Saturday, offering a glimpse into the passion and craftsmanship that define Marbrin Olive Farm.
