"This award-winning wood-fired grill restaurant celebrates South African culinary traditions through flame-cooked cuisine. Chef David Higgs, known for his pioneering work in South African fine dining and multiple American Express Dining Awards including Pioneer Chef honours, leads the kitchen with a focus on cooking over fire.
The restaurant features a grand wood-fired grill imported from Michigan as its centrepiece. The menu spans meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables and breads, all prepared on coals. The sommelier-curated wine list features 100 South African and international selections.
Located in the historic Union Castle Building, the venue includes a rooftop bar enclosed in a glass-walled space. The bar has a wrap-around terrace and offers panoramic views of the waterfront, the city, and Table Mountain.
