Lothian vineyards and house is a luxurious architectural masterpiece in a class of its own, bordered by the meandering Palmiet River and its own private lake in the magical Cape Winelands. The design allows for absolute privacy and impeccable indulgence.
Wine tasting at the Lothian Vineyards are crafted with elegance and exquisitely complex wines that reflect the unique climate and terroir of Lothian vineyards. Wine lovers and connoisseurs can book a private tasting on the estate, overlooking the beautiful terroir the wines originate from. Please book as this is not open to the general public. They are open for wine tastings from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday and on weekends by appointment.
Lothian Vineyards offers the Lothian House as top of the range accommodation for its guests. Lothian House holds six exquisite en-suite bedrooms each designed with their own individual flair. This further extends into an exterior guest wing with an additional two en-suite bedrooms, kitchenette and lounge, riverside terrace and separate entrance allowing adjoining families or groups that little extra space.
Guests can also reserve The Villa and explore the lush vineyards of Lothian surrounded by sparkling water and magical mountains throughout the four seasons of the year. From jet skiing, sunbathing, water skiing and tubing in summer to cosying up by the fireplace over a glass of wine while watching the majestic birds fly over the magical Palmiet River and the mesmerising Elgin valley mountain-scape.
The location is also famed for the hosting of events and corporate retreats. Less than an hour from Cape Town city centre and just 30 minutes’ drive from Cape Town International Airport, Lothian House makes for an exceptional venue for weddings, corporate events, meetings, incentives and launches. The estate is easily accessible from the N2 highway and boasts its own helipad.
