Following the popularity of their Lazy Lunch and Dinner series, Meuse Farm introduces an exciting new development - Lazy Brunches!
Chef Caitlin Kennedy creates a lavish harvest table spread, featuring summer produce fresh from the fields, Mount Elsewhere seeded sourdough, favourite local cheeses, farm preserves and plenty more. A variety of hot dishes to order is included, featuring the best of Meuse Farm veg and
locally sourced eggs.
Start the day slowly with a relaxing morning, looking out over the fields where your food was grown. Sip on fresh pressed juices, local coffee, farm made cordials, or a morning mimosa, and simply enjoy the wholesome setting.
The price includes unlimited self service from the harvest table spread, a hot breakfast, and farm made cordials. Fresh juices, bubbly, and speciality teas and coffees are available to order on the day.
Children are welcome to attend and will be charged at half price.
Caitlin Kennedy first visited Meuse as a volunteer farmer two years ago. She returned to home soil after many years working abroad as a chef to follow her dream - combining her passion for growing things with her love for food. She spent six months working in the fields, learning just how much time, effort, (and back pain) goes into ingredients that are grown with good practices. Her passion lies in using food as a platform to educate diners about food systems and seasonality, and to promote a thriving local food scene. She believes that food is more delicious when it tells a story, especially when it is a story of small producers doing amazing things for people and the environment alike.
