L'Avenir (meaning 'the future') is a leading Stellenbosch boutique winery that specialises in South Africa's emblematic varietals: Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. It is a destination that combines the heritage of Pinotage with modern winemaking techniques, offering an engaging and eco-conscious wine experience.
L’Avenir’s elegant tasting room was inspired by the flair and sophistication of French bistro culture. Depending on the season guests can enjoy a glass of Pinotage in front of the cosy Cellardoor fireplace, or a refreshing glass of Chenin Blanc in the tranquil countryside setting of the gardens next to the farm’s lake.
A selection of wine tasting and food pairing options are available. Guests can choose between four tastings: the Horizon Tasting (R70), the classic Provenance & MCC Tasting (R100), the Exclusive Single Block Experience (R140) and the Comparative tasting (R120).
Nestled in the valley below the Simonsberg Mountains, L’Avenir Country Lodge is an intimate, 4-star lodge located on a working wine estate, just minutes from the historical town of Stellenbosch.
