'Last Night of the Proms' has been a highly anticipated event here in South Africa for about 30 years, and now the iconic concert series returns to Joburg.
The concert is a celebration of festive music and vibrant South African-ness. Suited to music-lovers of all ages it creates a joyful celebration of music, unity and tradition, and incorporates diverse musical influences to reflect this country’s rich cultural heritage.
The concert is led in conduction by Maestro Richard Cock and features the Phoenix Orchestra and more massed choirs.
