Lamb Champs is a movement that celebrates South Africa’s family farmers, their expertise, and the world-class lamb they produce.
What makes lamb unique is that it remains one of the last meats still enjoyed in its purest form - as chops on the fire, bringing families and friends together. The Lamb Champs initiative is sponsored by Pick n Pay, who is actively creating shelf space in their stores to allow South African consumers to engage with the stories behind the food they buy.
Lamb Champs educates, inspires, and ensures that family farming remains a thriving, sustainable profession for generations to come. All ticket holders will enjoy unlimited spit-roasted lamb; access to the beer tent, food stalls, and exhibitor stands; live performances by top South African artists throughout the day, and a live broadcast of the rugby match on the big screen.
