La Provence D’ Afrique in Magaliesburg offers French-inspired accommodation and a venue about an hour's drive from Johannesburg.
Seven suits are available for visitors to stay in, the gardens are set on 6.5 acres of land near the Berg River and forests, the onsite street café was built inside South African sculptor - Charles Gotthard’s - old studio on the grounds and there is also a Zen Spa onsite. The surrounding gardens hold an abundance of bird life and natural beauty, while on the same property visitors can also find the Out of Africa Guest Lodge and stay in one of the five double-storey thatched cottages available there.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of outdoor activities in the Magaliesburg area including canopy tours, the De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre, a visit to Maropeng or the Sterkfontein Caves, horse-riding and more.
