Fairlawns Boutique Hotel invites foodies to their 'La Dolce Vita' dinner set to immerse guests in the enchanting essence of Italian cuisine.
The dinner starts off with 'Antipasto', traditional Italian salad or bite-sized platter foods to start off a meal. Then guests get to tuck into an Italian 'Primo', also known as the first course before the second course, or 'Secondo'. The experience finally ends with 'Dolce', which translates to something sweet.
Each course is served with two wines — one Italian and one South African. Both wines are presented blind, and guests get to decided which wine complements the dish best and identify its origin. At the end of the night, guests get a special Italian gift to take home.
