Che from Che Gourmet hosts an immersive and interactive Korean BBQ-making evening class.
Having lived in South Korea, Che brings an authentic insider’s perspective to the table, sharing the techniques and traditions that make Korean BBQ a global favourite. Guests start by learning how to select and marinate the best cuts of meat, from succulent bulgogi (marinated beef) to spicy gochujang pork and tender chicken, infusing each with layers of flavour.
Then they are guided through the preparation of classic banchan such as crispy kimchi, sweet and savoury japchae (glass noodles with vegetables), and tangy pickled radish.
Beyond just cooking, this class is an experience in the communal and social aspects of Korean dining as guest also learn how to set up a traditional Korean BBQ spread, where everyone gathers around the grill to cook, eat, and enjoy together.
