The Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa's Annual Guild Show is a showcase of unparalleled craftsmanship featuring over 60 of the country's premier knifemakers, along with allied craftsmen, and suppliers of materials and equipment.
From miniature marvels to imposing swords, and from foldable everyday carry knives to rugged hunters, the Guild Show has it all. A variety of materials is presented, from mammoth ivory to micarta, an array of horn bone, to unique African hardwoods. Each knife tells a story through the carefully chosen materials used in its creation.
South African knifemakers have rightfully earned a global reputation for their commitment to quality and artistry. Their creations have garnered acclaim at international shows around the world, showcasing the nation's expertise in the fine art of knifemaking.
