Multiple-award-winning band Mango Groove is a staple of the Kirstenbosch Concert Series. Internationally, Mango Groove’s unique and magical blend of South African Marabi, Kwela and pop influences, together with the voice and presence of Claire Johnston and the evocative sound of the penny-whistle, have captivated audiences around the world.
Concertgoers are welcome to pack a picnic, or to pre-order five days ahead from the Kirstenbosch Tea Room or Moyo Restaurant. Food trucks are also available at every show.
Tickets may be booked through Webtickets, at Pick n Pay stores nationwide and at the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden gate.
The concerts are non-smoking events. Please note there are no designated smoking areas anywhere at the concerts, or in the garden.
