Bok van Blerk is a popular South African singer-songwriter, known for his contributions to Afrikaans music. He gained fame with hits like 'De la Rey' and 'Kaptein'. His style blends folk, country, and rock influences, and he often incorporates themes of patriotism, history, and identity into his songs.
Described as singing "Afrikaans music dressed in a range of different designs", Elandre is a graduate of the Waterfront Theatre School. He hit the big time after his cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Tougher Than the Rest' went viral overnight.
Concertgoers are welcome to pack a picnic, or to pre-order five days ahead from the Kirstenbosch Tea Room or Moyo Restaurant. Food trucks are also available at every show.
