Keenan Scott performs a live acoustic set of folk and blues material at Ground Culture Café on Lower Main Road in Observatory. Scott is an emerging Cape Town-based acoustic guitarist and songwriter whose work spans folk and blues songwriting traditions.
Ground Culture Café is an independent creative space and café, known for its regular live music programme, comedy nights and open mic series. The Foreground Open Mic series has featured artists including Dalin Oliver, Nik Rabinowitz and Barry Hilton, and the venue hosts a weekly Friday comedy lineup hosted by Jaryd Pillay. Past concerts at the same venue and in the same format have included folk, blues, singer-songwriter and acoustic roots acts.
