Event information
Rock musician Keanan Eksteen brings his band to Café Roux, performing songs from his new album alongside established crowd favourites. Eksteen, who grew up in Kraaifontein, built his sound on a childhood soundtrack of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty, blending classic and modern rock influences into a style distinctly his own.
The show follows the June release of his second full-length album, Starring, released on vinyl as a mix of previously released singles and new material. Genre is rock and roll, delivered with the energetic stage presence that has built Eksteen's following both locally and across Europe.
The performance falls ahead of the band's fifth European tour, where they'll play festivals in Germany and the Netherlands, and shortly before Eksteen performs at Ellis Park Stadium for a Springbok versus All Blacks match. Café Roux operates a seated table format, with tables booked under the same email address grouped together.
